SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service position established for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
